Down Hall Primary School
We are learning to take care of ourselves, each other, our school and our world.
A Message from the Headteacher
Greeting from the Headteacher.
On behalf of Down Hall Primary School, I am delighted to welcome you to our website. It has been designed to give you a flavour of the vibrant life of our school and the quality of education we deliver.
As Headteacher, I am delighted and proud to be part of such a caring and welcoming school where pupils, staff, governors, parents and the school community work incredibly hard and have high expectations of each other. Children’s social and spiritual development are nurtured by the caring relationships experienced throughout the school community.
Here at Down Hall, we are passionate about promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all of our children and are committed to providing a happy, safe and welcoming atmosphere in which we can nurture the achievements of every child. We are a Rights Respecting School which means we follow the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child) and put children’s rights at the heart of everything we do. You can find out about the UNCRC here:

We welcome visitors to our school, and both staff and children are always available to show you around so that you can see for yourself what we have to offer.
If you would like to request a paper version of any of the information you see on our website, please contact the school office.
